The International Interdependence Hexagon Project is a Social Justice Art Education non-profit that asks students, grades preK-University and communities worldwide to create art inside downloadable hexagonal templates, metaphors for our interconnectedness. In 14 years over 10,000 hexagons have been created about themes of interdependence such as women’s and Children’s rights, governance, environment, diversity, transforming conflict and empathy, including solutions to these concerns. . We believe that the voices of young people and communities must be heard through the power of the arts in an increasingly interconnected world.
