International Arts Education Week 2023

The International Arts Education Week aims at increasing the awareness on the importance of arts education. The commemorations of the International Arts Education Week will be during May 22-28, 2023.

According to the decision of the 36th session of UNESCO’s General Conference in 2011 (36/C Resolution 38), the 4th week of May was proclaimed as the International Arts Education Week.

In 2023, InSEA Latin America Region, FAEB and OPAE came together to invite Lucimar Bello (http://www.lucimarbello.com.br/) to create a proposal that all people can do in their contexts, connecting our communities. In response, Lucimar Bello presented us with “Drawings of Living, Performing Actions” and suggests: “Let’s create and spread Peace!”

Instructions:

Take a piece of paper. Small. Knead it with your fingertips until it looks like a bud and turn it into a flower. Make yours and do it among many people.

Imagine planting them next to the body - the vital energy. And every day, water that flower so that it continues to bloom.

Build Collective Gardens sustaining Personal Peace and, at the same time, Collective Peace. Talk about this Action and ways to grow Gardens of Peace. Post images so that Actions spread for Peace in Education and in the World.

De acordo com a decisão da 36ª sessão da Conferência Geral da UNESCO em 2011 (Resolução 36/C 38), a 4ª semana de maio foi proclamada a “Semana Internacional de Arte/Educação”.

Em 2023 a InSEA Região América Latina, FAEB e OPAE se uniram para convidar Lucimar Bello (http://www.lucimarbello.com.br/) a criar uma proposição que todas as pessoas possam fazer em seus contextos, conectando nossas comunidades. Em resposta, Lucimar Bello nos presenteia com “Desenhos de Viver, Ações Performáticas” e sugere: “Vamos gestar e espalhar a Paz!”

Instruções:

Pegue um pedaço de papel. Pequeno. Amasse com a ponta dos dedos até que pareça um botão e o transforme em uma flor. Faça a sua e faça entre muitas pessoas.

Imagine plantá-las junto ao corpo - a energia vital. E, todos os dias, regue essa flor para que continue florescendo.

Construa Jardins Coletivos sustentando uma Paz Pessoal e, ao mesmo tempo, uma Paz Coletiva. Converse sobre essa Ação e os modos de cultivar Jardins de Paz. Poste imagens para que as Ações se espalhem pela Paz na Educação e no Mundo.

De acuerdo con la decisión de la 36ª sesión de la Conferencia General de la UNESCO en 2011 (Resolución 36/C 38), la 4ª semana de mayo fue proclamada Semana Internacional de la Educación Artística.

En 2023, InSEA Región América Latina, FAEB y OPAE se unieron para invitar a Lucimar Bello (http://www.lucimarbello.com.br/) a crear una propuesta que todas las personas puedan hacer en sus contextos, conectando nuestras comunidades. En respuesta, Lucimar Bello nos presenta “Dibujos para Vivir, Realizando Acciones” y sugiere: “¡Gestemos y propaguemos la Paz!”

Toma un pedazo de papel. Pequeño. Amasarlo con las yemas de los dedos hasta que parezca un capullo y convertirlo en una flor. Haz el tuyo y hazlo entre muchas personas.

Imagina plantarlos junto al cuerpo: la energía vital. Y todos los días, riega esa flor para que siga floreciendo.

Construir Jardines Colectivos sustentando la Paz Personal y, al mismo tiempo, la Paz Colectiva. Hable sobre esta Acción y las formas de hacer crecer Jardines de Paz. Publica imágenes para que se difundan Acciones por la Paz en la Educación y en el Mundo.
